Ever since blogs became a thing I’ve been told I should start one. I never did because I sort of thought I never had much to write about. Then, when I took a moment to think about it, I actually have a lot to say.
I’m a crime fighter by day, a missionary by night, a teacher by trade, and a journalist at heart. I’ve a passport full of stamps, a stack of paper journals full of stories, and a medicine cabinet full of atypical anti-psychotics.
I’m a Christian. I’m a workaholic. I’m an adventurer. And I’m bipolar.
This blog is about how I do life while managing serious mental health issues, keeping God as my anchor and letting nothing stand in my way of my passions, dreams, and calling. It covers my adventures abroad and at home, those that became grand chapters in my memory and those that lasted the afternoon.
The rest of this page, like me, is still under construction… hopefully I’ll have a bit more to show in days coming.
In the mean time, I hope you’ll approach my story from the understanding that my life is a challenge, but an awesome and amazing one that I thank Jesus for. I want to explore what adventures in bipolarity look like when God is one’s anchor. I aim to show how balance sort of plays out, and has played out over the course of my eventful life – a life that is more amazing because of my brave, challenging, and beautiful bipolar brain.
